Dr. Paula Jacobsen
Dr. Jacobsen is a second generation optometrist from East Moline, Illinois. She did her undergraduate work at Knox College in Galseburg, Illinois, and received her doctorate of optometry from Indiana University in 1989. Dr. Jacobsen took over the practice at Jacobsen Eye Care from her father, Dr. Paul Jacobsen, and now works alongside Dr. Dunne.
Dr. Katherine Dunne
Dr. Dunne is a first generation optometrist who was born and raised in the QC area. She did her undergraduate work at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and received her doctorate of optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2011. Dr. Dunne joined our clinic family in 2023 and brings her many years of optometric experience to provide quality care to our patients.
Dr. Michael Hoerres - Retired
Dr. Michael Hoerres has now begun his new journey of retirement as of June 2024! Dr. Hoerres is a first generation optometrist from Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. He did his undergraduate work at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. He received his doctorate of optometry from Indiana University in 1989. He is married to Dr. Paula Jacobsen and has two lovely children named Amanda and Rebecca.
